The Precision EFI Seal Saver is a unique part designed to fill the gap between the rear of the drive pulley and the engine block, It also ensures a tighter fit around the crankshaft.  

The 900R is an incredibly reliable engine but has one potentially fatal flaw in the event you break a drive belt: when the belt snaps, it has the unfortunate tendency to wrap itself around the crankshaft and when it does, it usually destroys or damages the unprotected main seal in the process. If this seal leaks when you turn the engine back on after changing the belt, your engine oil will spill out quickly and leave you stranded on the trail with a ruined engine.
